How Multi Sports ties in with Rainbow Ride 2026
Rainbow Ride 2026 is a cycling event in which participants ride over Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Gate Bridge. Multi Sports is held at the Rainbow Ride finish venue on the same day. You can enjoy cycling-related content as well as many other sports there.
Both events belong to GRAND CYCLE TOKYO (GCT), a Tokyo Metropolitan Government project that runs bicycle events to make cycling part of everyday life, since it is good for both the environment and your health. Tokyo has also earned the UCI BIKE CITY LABEL from the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), and it is the first city in East Asia to receive it.
Guests and special stages

Two GCT ambassadors lead the lineup, joined by TV personalities. There are also two special programs: a stage based on a popular YouTube channel and a public recording of a TV show.
| Guest / program | Details |
|---|---|
| Ami Inamura (稲村亜美) | GCT ambassador |
| Sou Takei (武井壮) | GCT ambassador |
| Miyazon (みやぞん) | Guest |
| Harry Sugiyama (ハリー杉山) | Guest |
| Furuta no Hoteishiki (フルタの方程式) | Special stage of the popular YouTube channel run by Atsuya Furuta (古田敦也) and Mitsuru Manaka (真中満) |
| Basuke FIVE (バスケ☆FIVE) | Special public recording of the TV show featuring Yu Sawabe (澤部佑) of the comedy duo Haraichi (ハライチ) |
Activities you can try

The program goes well beyond cycling. Here is the full list from the announcement. English names are our own descriptions, with the official Japanese names alongside so you can match them to the signs at the venue.
| Activity | Official Japanese name |
|---|---|
| BMX demonstration | BMX
| Kick target challenge |
| Strider Enjoy Cup |
| Basketball shoot and dunk challenge |
| Pickleball trial court | 「
| TEAM BEYOND boccia experience | TEAM BEYOND
| Inflatable play park |
| Cycling goods market |
| VR cycling | VR

For families, the inflatable park, the basketball shoot challenge and the Strider cup are the obvious picks. Boccia is easy to pick up whatever your age, so it suits mixed groups of kids, parents and grandparents.

The announcement does not cover sign-up rules, age limits or time slots for each activity. Check the official page for those details.
Food trucks and the GCT original menu
Food trucks will serve regional specialties from across Japan. There will also be a GCT original menu created with the gourmet variety TV show Kitchen Car Daisakusen! The announcement lists no menu items or prices yet.
