I cancelled Rakuten Mobile in the past. Am I still eligible?
Yes, re-subscriptions are eligible. You will receive points if the new line meets the conditions. The regular referral campaign only covers people applying for a Rakuten line for the first time.
How many lines can I use it for?
Rewards are capped at 5 lines per person (applications on or after June 1, 2024). You can also use it when you add a line under your own Rakuten ID, whether for a family member or as a secondary line. The Rakuten Turbo reward is once per person.
I applied, then realized I forgot to log in via the referral URL
If you are within 7 days of your application date (including that day), log in via the referral URL now and you will still be eligible. If 8 or more days have passed, you are not eligible. If you log in after applying, Rakuten Mobile may check records to confirm that you had forgotten to log in.
Does applying at a Rakuten Mobile shop count?
Yes. However, you cannot log in at the shop, so log in via the referral URL from this page on your own phone before your visit.
When will I receive points, and how many?
Points arrive in 3 installments, starting 4 months after the month of your referral login. If you switch carriers, you receive 5,000 → 5,000 → 4,000 points; for new sign-ups and plan migrations, you receive 5,000 → 4,000 → 4,000 points. They are time-limited points, valid for 6 months including the day they are awarded.
Where can I check that my Rakuten Link call lasted at least 10 seconds?
Log in to “my 楽天モバイル”, open [利用状況] (Usage), go to the [通話] (Calls) tab and check the call duration under [Rakuten Link（国内）]. Calls to numbers starting with 0570 or similar prefixes, or to # numbers, do not count.
Is the Data Type SIM eligible?
Under the campaign rules it is, and the Rakuten Link call condition does not apply. However, new applications for the Data Type plan have been suspended since March 5, 2026.
Which campaigns can't be combined with it?
As a rule, only one campaign applies per line. This campaign cannot be combined with the regular referral campaign or the “20,000 points on your first application” offer for Rakuten Card members (code 3381). If you apply from the code 3381 page, that offer takes priority. iPhone discounts (codes 2169, 2568, etc.) can be combined with it.
How long is my entry valid?
Until 23:59 on the last day of the second month after the month you log in. For example, if you log in on October 5, apply, start your plan and make the Rakuten Link call by December 31.
