Gendama is worth using for two things: a deep free-earning section and 1% interest
10pt = ¥1. The section where you earn without spending money is clearly deeper than at rival sites, and just holding 100pt or more pays you 1% a year.
But its referral design runs the opposite way to everyone else — the reward sits with the person referring. I’ll say that plainly too.
What this guide covers
- 🔴 If you sign up with a social account, you cannot enter a referral code — register with an email address
- 1% annual interest on the points you hold (100pt or more, paid automatically around the 10th of each month). None of the other five sites has this
- The referral reward is weighted toward the referrer. A sign-up bonus for you, the reader, could not be confirmed from public information
- You can cash out from 3,000pt (¥300), and the first transfer each month comes with a fee-free ticket
- There are a lot of free games and tasks, so it suits people who want to earn without spending

🔴 Read this before you register: social sign-up blocks the referral code
This is the one point in this article that can actually cost you money. Gendama’s registration screen offers sign-up with a Yahoo!, Google, LINE or Apple account, but the official wording is explicit.
In other words, a social login means the referral never registers. It is tempting because it is one tap, but if you want the referral to count, register with an email address. The same warning appears both on the registration screen and on the friend-referral page.
From registration to cash-out
- Open the registration screen from the referral linkUse the button below this article. Going through the referral URL means you do not need to type the code separately.
- Register with an email addressDo not use the Yahoo!, Google, LINE or Apple buttons. A social account makes it impossible to enter the referral code.
- Read the qualifying conditions before you pick an offerGendama shows conditions without logging in. Requirements such as “Mastercard brand only” or “spend ¥5,000 by the end of next month” are written on each offer, so decide first whether you can meet them.
- Aim for 3,000pt using the free contentThe cash-out line is only 3,000pt (¥300), so games and surveys alone can get you there. Exchanging once early is a good way to confirm how the system works.
- Bundle your exchanges into one per monthPoints move to the Digital Wallet first, then out to each destination. The fee-free ticket comes with the first transfer of each month, so splitting into several transfers works against you.
The referral design is unusual — the reward sits with the referrer
Being straight about this: Gendama’s friend referral programme weights the reward toward the person doing the referring. The official “friend referral benefits” page lists these three.
| Benefit for the referrer | Details |
|---|---|
| Benefit 1 | 1,000pt once your friend joins via the referral URL or code and completes one point exchange |
| Benefit 2 (tiered) | 10% of what your friend earns, plus 2% of what their own referrals earn (applies to people invited from January 2024 onward) |
| Benefit 3 | 1% annual interest while you hold 100pt or more, paid automatically around the 10th of each month |
| Site | Sign-up bonus for the reader via referral |
|---|---|
| Hapitas | up to 2,300pt = ¥2,300 |
| Chobirich | up to 2,150pt = ¥2,150 |
| Moppy | up to 2,000P = ¥2,000 |
| Powl | up to 3,300pt = ¥330 |
| Point Income | 2,000pt = ¥200 |
| Gendama | not confirmable from public information |
1% annual interest on your balance — unique to Gendama
Gendama pays 1% annual interest automatically, around the 10th of each month, as long as you hold 100pt or more. Of the six sites compared here, Gendama is the only one that pays interest on the point balance itself.
How much you can actually earn — offers are readable before you join
One good thing about Gendama is that, unlike Point Income, you can read the offers and their conditions before registering. These were on the front page on 12 August 2026 (where an offer was marked as boosted, the boosted figure is shown).
| Offer | Qualifying condition | Points | In yen |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hirose Tsusho FX trading | Open a new account and complete a new position of 100,000 currency units or more | 170,000pt | ¥17,000 |
| Mitsubishi UFJ Card | New credit card issued | 120,000pt | ¥12,000 |
| Credit Saison Gold Card Saison | Card issued (Mastercard brand only) and ¥5,000 spent by the end of the following month | 100,000pt | ¥10,000 |
| BOOK WALKER | First purchase (register, then payment confirmed within 30 days of ordering) | 11,000pt | ¥1,100 |
| DARWIN funding | Register, then complete a lump-sum ¥500,000 investment within 60 days | 1,250,000pt | ¥125,000 |
The depth of the free content is the real strength
What stands out once you open Gendama is how much more there is to earn without spending money. Counting what sits on the front page:
| Content | Details |
|---|---|
| Mori Gacha | Top prize 1,000,000pt (= ¥100,000) |
| Mori Mori Championship | 1pt to 10,000pt guaranteed every day |
| Point no Mori | Up to 40pt a day for clicking |
| Escape! Obake House | 100,000pt for finishing first |
| Nou-tore Hiroba | Up to 20pt a day |
| School of Quiz | Up to 20,000pt |
| Furu Furu Panic | 10pt a day |
| Others | Bingo / fruit farm / whack-a-mole / PANBON slots / surveys / receipt uploads / mystery shopping |
Getting money out — from 3,000pt, first transfer each month is free
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Minimum cash-out | from 3,000pt = ¥300 |
| How it works | Move Gendama points to the Digital Wallet, then convert to cash, e-money and so on |
| Fees | A ticket waiving the exchange fee is issued on the first transfer of each month |
| Effect on rankings | Moving points to the Digital Wallet leaves your monthly ranking display and position unchanged |
Compared with Moppy, Hapitas, Powl, Chobirich and Point Income
This blog covers Moppy, Hapitas, Powl, Chobirich and Point Income in the same depth. Lined up side by side, Gendama’s character becomes clear.

Steps and tips for earning efficiently
1. Always register with an email address
To repeat: a social account makes it impossible to enter the referral code. This is the one thing not to get wrong.
2. Bundle exchanges into one per month
The fee-waiving ticket comes with the first transfer of each month. Exchanging repeatedly in small amounts risks paying a fee from the second transfer onward. One per month is better.
3. Reach 3,000pt and cash out once
The cash-out line is only ¥300, so free content alone can get you there. Confirming early that the money really arrives makes every later decision easier.
4. Read the conditions column before high-value offers
Gendama shows qualifying conditions before you register. The Credit Saison card says “Mastercard brand only” and “spend ¥5,000 by the end of next month”; the FX offer says “complete a trade of 100,000 currency units or more”. The requirements are stated plainly, so decide first whether you can meet them.
5. For large one-off offers, compare with other referral routes
Cards, mobile plans and brokerage accounts are large enough that going outside a point site is sometimes better. Examples covered on this blog:
- Rakuten Mobile employee referral (14,000pt for MNP, 11,000pt for a new line)
- Marriott Bonvoy American Express Premium (111,000 points via referral)
- American Express Gold Preferred (referral sign-up bonus)
- Rakuten Card guide — 11,000pt via referral, or 31,000pt when applied for alongside Rakuten Mobile
Things to watch out for
| Watch out for | Details |
|---|---|
| 🔴 Social sign-up blocks the referral code | Registering via Yahoo!, Google, LINE or Apple means the referral does not register. Use an email address |
| Social sign-up blocks announcements | Gendama states you will not receive its newsletters or important notices |
| No confirmed bonus for the reader | The “benefits for your friend” column carries no figure. Do not register expecting one |
| Easy to misread the magnitude | 10pt = ¥1. With other sites’ habits, the numbers look ten times bigger |
| Exchanges go via the Digital Wallet | Not direct: move points across first, then choose a destination |
| Fee waiver is once a month | Transfers after the first in a month may incur a fee |
| No public rank or guarantee scheme | The membership ranks and guarantees other sites publish could not be found here |
The same offer pays differently on different sites
As the comparison section showed, the six sites are built differently. Rates differ per offer and change daily. The Mitsubishi UFJ Card, for instance, was ¥12,000 on Gendama, Moppy, Powl and Chobirich alike.
To make that check easy every time, I run Pointnavi, a site that compares point-site rates side by side. Search an offer name and you can see several sites’ rates together.
If you want to know how it works first, see the complete Pointnavi guide.
For the record, it is fine if Gendama does not come out on top. Building the habit of one cross-check before you apply is what pays off in the long run.
Who it suits and who it doesn’t
Suits: earning without spending
The games, clicks and surveys are the deepest of the six sites, and free activity alone can reach the cash-out line.
Suits: starting small
You can cash out from 3,000pt = ¥300, the lowest of the six.
Suits: no rush to cash out
1% a year on balances of 100pt or more. The balance grows slightly on its own.
Suits: wanting to look before joining
Offers and their conditions are readable without logging in.
Doesn’t suit: choosing by sign-up bonus
No bonus for the reader could be confirmed. For the amount, go to Hapitas.
Doesn’t suit: wanting guarantees and ranks
Neither appears on the public pages. For protection, go to Point Income.
Frequently asked questions
- How do I use a Gendama referral code?
- Either register through the referral URL or enter the referral code during sign-up. There is one important condition: Gendama states explicitly that a referral code cannot be entered when you register with a social account such as Yahoo, Google, LINE or Apple. To make the referral count, register with an email address.
- How much is a Gendama point worth?
- Ten points equal one yen. An offer showing 120,000pt is therefore worth 12,000 yen. If you are used to Moppy at 1P to the yen, or Hapitas and Chobirich at 1pt to the yen, the figures look ten times larger, so the simplest method is to drop one zero. Powl and Point Income also use 10pt to the yen, the same as Gendama.
- What bonus do I get for registering with Gendama?
- The official friend referral page lists three benefits for the referrer: 1,000 points once the friend joins and completes a point exchange, a tiered reward of 10 percent of that friend’s earnings and 2 percent of the earnings of anyone they refer, and 1 percent annual interest while holding 100 points or more. The column for the person being referred, meaning anyone about to register, carries no figure, and no sign-up bonus was visible on the registration screen. Because it cannot be confirmed from public information as of 12 August 2026, registering in the expectation of a sign-up bonus is not advisable.
- What is the minimum Gendama cash-out?
- Three thousand points, which is 300 yen. That is the lowest of the six sites compared in this article. Exchanging means first moving Gendama points into the Digital Wallet and then converting from there into cash, e-money and other destinations.
- Does Gendama charge exchange fees?
- Gendama states that the first point transfer each month comes with a ticket that waives the exchange fee. By implication a fee may apply from the second transfer in the same month, so bundling exchanges into one per month works in your favour.
- What is Gendama’s 1 percent annual interest?
- While you hold 100 points or more, points worth 1 percent a year are credited automatically around the 10th of each month. Among the six sites compared here, Gendama is the only one that pays interest on the point balance itself. At 10 points to the yen, however, holding 30,000 points for a year yields only 300 points, or 30 yen. Treat it as freedom over when to cash out rather than as income.
- Can I see Gendama offers without registering?
- Yes. The front page lists offer names, qualifying conditions and point amounts, all visible without logging in. Point Income does not let you search offers while logged out, so Gendama is more open in this respect.
- Who operates Gendama?
- POINTFUN Inc. Its company profile lists an address in Shinagawa, Tokyo, Gento Yokoyama as representative director, capital of three million yen, and a founding date of 26 October 2023. Note that this founding date belongs to the current operating company and is separate from how long the Gendama service itself has been running.
- How many members does Gendama have?
- The site describes itself as number one for point-earning members, but no specific membership figure appears on the public pages. Most rivals do publish one: Moppy states more than 14 million, Powl more than 7 million, Hapitas more than 6.3 million, and Chobirich and Point Income more than 5 million each.
- How much can I earn on Gendama for free?
- There is a lot of free content, including Mori Gacha, the Mori Mori Championship, Point no Mori, Escape Obake House, Nou-tore Hiroba, School of Quiz and Furu Furu Panic. The per-action value is small, though: the Mori Mori Championship guarantees between 1 and 10,000 points a day, and the floor of 1 point is 0.1 yen. Free content will not earn you a large amount, but because the cash-out line is only 300 yen it is quite possible to reach a payout using free activities alone.
- Which pays more, Gendama or Moppy?
- It depends on the offer. Comparing the Mitsubishi UFJ Card on 12 August 2026, Gendama paid 120,000 points, or 12,000 yen, exactly the same as Moppy, Powl and Chobirich. Rates change daily, so a cross-check immediately before applying is the reliable approach.
- Is Gendama safe to use?
- It is operated by POINTFUN Inc., whose company profile discloses its address, representative and capital. The problems that actually occur are registering with a social account so the referral never counts, and failing to meet an offer’s qualifying conditions so the points never arrive. The first is avoided by always registering with an email address, the second by reading the qualifying conditions, which are visible before you register, all the way through.
Sources
The figures in this article were checked on Gendama’s official site on 12 August 2026.
• Gendama official site (offer rates and qualifying conditions, list of free content)
• Gendama: about point exchange (10pt = ¥1, from 3,000pt = ¥300, via the Digital Wallet, monthly fee-free ticket)
• Gendama: friend referral (1,000pt for the referrer, tiered 10% and 2%, 1% annual interest, referral codes unusable with social sign-up)
• Gendama: company profile (POINTFUN Inc., address, representative, capital, founding date)
• Figures for Moppy, Hapitas, Powl, Chobirich and Point Income come from each site’s own pages and from Pointnavi, which I operate.
Summary
Gendama is not a site that lures people in with a sign-up bonus. On the contrary, no sign-up bonus for the reader could be confirmed from public information, and on that point it is clearly behind the other five. It is still worth using for three reasons.
Three reasons to choose Gendama
- The deepest free-earning section of the six — games, clicks, surveys, receipt uploads. There is clearly more here to earn without spending
- The lowest cash-out line of the six at 3,000pt = ¥300 — you can reach a payout on free activity alone and see the system through end to end
- 1% annual interest on the balance — the only one of the six that pays interest on points held, which removes the pressure to cash out quickly
And the most important warning once more. Registering with a social account makes the referral code unusable. One tap is tempting, but register with an email address.
One last thing. Before you apply, look at what the other point sites pay. The Mitsubishi UFJ Card came out identical on four sites — some offers differ sharply and some do not. Use Pointnavi, which I run, or the articles on Moppy, Hapitas, Powl, Chobirich and Point Income. That single extra step is the most reliably useful habit in point earning.
You can register from the button below. Remember to use an email address.
