CoCo Ichibanya x VIVANT Collaboration Starts October 1
Ichibanya Co., Ltd. will run a collaboration campaign with the TBS Sunday Theater drama VIVANT at CoCo Ichibanya curry restaurants across Japan from Thursday, October 1 to Wednesday, November 11, 2026. VIVANT returned for its second season this July, three years after the first. The campaign includes limited-time menu items, giveaways, a receipt prize draw and a code-breaking puzzle.

The campaign story: the mysterious organization “Shinshi” is after the Tom Yum Kung Soup Curry, a dish from Thailand, one of the drama’s settings, and is targeting CoCo Ichibanya. Customers play “Beppan” agents and take on three missions.

Campaign Overview
- Period: Thursday, October 1 – Wednesday, November 11, 2026
- Participating stores: CoCo Ichibanya curry restaurants nationwide (some exceptions)
- Excluded stores: Kyobashi Edogrand, EXPASA Ashigara (outbound), Nagoya JR Gate Tower, Fukiage Hall, Aichi Medical University, Maker’s Pier, Centrair, KITTE Osaka, Nakayama Racecourse, Tokyo Racecourse, Chukyo Racecourse, Kyoto Racecourse and Kokura Racecourse (as of September 25, 2026)

Two Limited-Edition Collaboration Items
Tom Yum Kung Soup Curry
This soup curry is inspired by tom yum kung, a signature dish of Thailand, one of the settings of Season 2. The broth is made with concentrated shrimp flavor. It comes with hearty shrimp, okra, eggplant, baby corn, cabbage, bamboo shoots and red bell pepper. Fresh herbal aromas combine with moderate sourness and heat for an ethnic flavor.
- Price: ¥1,200 (¥1,320 incl. tax)
- Takeout costs the dine-in price plus ¥54 (incl. tax)
Mochitto Fried Anpan
This deep-fried sweet bean bun is themed around mochi, the favorite food of the character Drum. It pairs gently sweet red bean paste with soft, stretchy gyuhi (a mochi-like rice confection). It is served in a special bag with an illustration of Drum.
- Price: ¥455 (¥500 incl. tax)
Collaboration items and giveaways are available only while supplies last at each store. A 7% late-night surcharge applies to dine-in and takeout orders between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Mission 1: Gather “Collaborators” and Stop Shinshi’s Plot
For every Tom Yum Kung Soup Curry you order, you receive one random collaboration card (12 designs in total) featuring “collaborators” such as Beppan and Public Security. For every Mochitto Fried Anpan you order, you receive one original Drum sticker.
Note: Mobile-order takeout, delivery and third-party delivery orders are not eligible.
Mission 2: Secure Special Items with Your Receipt
All menu items qualify. Each receipt with an order total of ¥1,300 or more (incl. tax) counts as one entry. A total of 250 winners will receive exclusive collaboration items.
- Eligible receipts: October 1 (Thu) – November 11 (Wed), 2026, until 23:59
- Entry deadline: November 18 (Wed), 2026, 23:59
- How to enter: Upload a photo of your receipt on the entry page and fill in the required details. There is no limit on entries per person during the period (third-party delivery orders excluded).
Prizes
- VIVANT Art Luncheon Mats (100 winners): A set of two mats with different original art designs.
- Tent Logo Round Towel (50 winners): A large round towel about 1,450mm in diameter, featuring the emblem of the drama’s organization “Tent.”
- Beppan Logo Gold Spoon (100 winners): A Beppan edition of the original spoon from past CoCo Ichibanya campaigns. The handle is engraved with the Beppan mark and the spoon is gold-plated. It comes in a dedicated case.
Mission 3: Crack the Code to Double Your Chances
During the campaign, in-store menus show an image of “a receipt left behind by a collaborator.” The menu name, spice level, rice amount and receipt number on it form a coded message. If you enter the decoded password when you apply for Mission 2, your chance of winning doubles.
If you get stuck, check CoCo Ichibanya’s official X account (@curryichibanya) for hints posted by the legendary hacker “Blue Walker.” You can enter the receipt draw without the password.
