Marugame Seimen Half-Price Udon: ¥190 Bowls and Extra Dates

Marugame Seimen (丸亀製麺) turns 26 on November 21. Its Anniversary Festival (創業感謝祭) runs throughout November, with app coupons between the half-price dates and a birthday giveaway on its official X account.

Half-price dates and bowl prices

Kamaage Udon Day (釜揚げうどんの日) normally takes place on the first day of each month. For this anniversary, Marugame Seimen has added November 11 and its founding anniversary, November 21.

What is kamaage udon?

Kamaage udon (釜揚げうどん) is served straight from the cooking kettle into a wooden tub, without being rinsed in cold water. That leaves the noodles soft on the outside with a chewy bite, while their slightly rough surface picks up the dipping broth.

This is a good choice if you want to focus on the noodles themselves: try a bite first, then dip them into the broth and adjust the condiments to your taste.

App coupon schedule: savings between the half-price days

The anniversary also includes coupons distributed through the official Marugame Seimen app. As of November 4, the first coupon period is underway. The announced schedule is below; detailed redemption conditions are shown in the app.

Seasonal udon in the first coupon period

Niku-kara Maze Udon was developed with Masahiro Matsuoka and features a strong garlic flavor. Rich Miso Broth Udon combines Hatcho miso, white miso and chicken broth, with sweet-savory pork and vegetables.

Rice bowls and tempura are included too

The November 2–10 coupon lineup also covers oyakodon and your choice of tempura. Check the coupon you want to use in the app before ordering.
