Key takeawaysThe Inazawa Curry Festival brings 28 vendors to the Inazawa City Hall parking area in Aichi on Sunday, November 15, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Entry is free, and curry dishes cost ¥500 or less each, with some toppings extra. Bakeries, cafés and izakaya put local spins on the theme, from curry-flavored sushi rolls to taiyaki, and a stage program adds character shows and dancing.

Twenty-eight vendors will serve their own takes on curry at the Inazawa Curry Festival (稲沢カレーフェスティバル2026) on Sunday, November 15, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The venue is the parking area at Inazawa City Hall in Aichi Prefecture. Entry is free, and the event overview lists curry dishes at ¥500 or less each, with some toppings costing extra.

This is more than a lineup of curry rice stalls: bakeries, cafés, Japanese and Italian restaurants, and izakaya are taking part. Character shows and a music-and-dance stage are also planned, giving families something to watch between food stops.

What to eat and how pricing works

Each vendor puts a local Inazawa twist on its curry. Alongside curry rice, the announcement mentions curry-flavored sushi rolls and taiyaki. With several kinds of restaurants taking part, the appeal is trying different interpretations of the same theme.

What does the ¥500 price cover?
The announcement promotes dishes at ¥500 each, while its detailed event overview says ¥500 or less. That price is for individual curry dishes, not an all-you-can-eat ticket. Toppings and other extras may carry an additional charge.

Use the flyer to shortlist dishes, but expect some differences between the photos and what is served. The organizers also note that uncooked ingredients, including salads, may be omitted under public health guidance.

Inazawa’s curry connection comes from Oriental, the company credited in the announcement with originating instant curry. The city is home to an Oriental factory that also serves as part of the company’s headquarters. The festival builds on that connection to promote curry as a local specialty. See the official Inazawa local curry page for more about the initiative.
