MUJI Week: 10% off everything for members
MUJI Week (無印良品週間) started on October 23. Until November 3, MUJI members get 10% off almost everything (books and a few other items are excluded). The official page currently shows it as running.
How to get the member price
- In store: show the member card in the MUJI app at the register. A LINE member card or a MUJI Card also works if the cashier scans it
- Online: log in before you buy and the cart shows the discounted price. Guest checkout doesn’t count
- Not a member yet? Install the MUJI app and register with your email address (free). The discount applies from that day
- Accounts from an overseas MUJI app or MUJI Card don’t qualify. Use the Japanese MUJI app
What isn’t discounted
Books, shipping, vending machines and ¥150 coffee, shopping bags, items already marked down (food near its best-before date, clearance and outlet items), and fresh food, deli items and alcohol from the supermarkets attached to some stores. It can’t be combined with shareholder coupons (the bigger MUJI Week discount takes priority) or with tax-free shopping.
From Oct 19 (Mon) to Nov 11 (Wed), in-store pickup for online orders and having items sent to a store are paused, except for some items. Clothing, accessories and large furniture can still be picked up in store; check the pickup options (受取手段) on each product page.

AirWALLET: 15% back on QR payments (until Nov 2)
This is the easiest one, and it works at any MUJI in Japan. AirWALLET (エアウォレット) is a money transfer and payment app from a company backed by Recruit and MUFG Bank. Your money sits in the app as a COIN+ (コインプラス) balance. From 0:00 on Oct 1 (Thu) to 23:59 on Nov 2 (Mon), 2026, paying with its QR code or barcode gets you 15% back as COIN+ balance.
Paying at the MUJI register
- Show your MUJI app member card first to get the member price
- Say “コインプラスで” (koin purasu de, “with COIN+”)
- Open the barcode in AirWALLET and let the cashier scan it
・Paying with COIN+ through another app, such as the MUJI app
・Split payments with cash or a card (coupons and points are fine)
New users: you can’t top up until you’ve linked a bank account and finished identity verification. Verification can take anywhere from the same day to about a week, so do it before your shopping day.

Marui: extra 10% off with EPOS Gold/Platinum (Oct 23–25)
The first three days of MUJI Week overlap with Marui’s “10% off for EPOS Platinum and Gold members”. Pay with an EPOS Gold or EPOS Platinum card at a MUJI inside Marui and another 10% comes off your card bill.

Conditions
- Card payments (lump sum, two payments, installments, revolving or bonus) and EPOS Pay count
- Apple Pay, Google Pay, QUICPay and Osaifu-Keitai don’t count. Pay with the physical card
- The discount isn’t taken at the register; it shows up on your card statement
- Some shops and items are excluded, so double-check at the register
After the 10% member discount, the card takes off another 10%, so you pay 81% of the list price.
This 10% off is only for Gold and Platinum members; a regular EPOS card doesn’t qualify. Regular cardholders get 10% off during Marui’s member sale weeks a few times a year (such as “Maruko and Maruo’s 7 Days”). At Marui, pay in two transactions
AirWALLET’s 15% is capped at ¥500 in total and can’t be combined with another payment method in one transaction. So on a day you shop at one of the five Marui stores, pay in two transactions and you get both.
Show your member card first for both transactions. If you’ve already used AirWALLET elsewhere in October, that has used up part of the ¥500 cap. If the line is long, tell the cashier at the start that you’d like to pay in two parts.
AEON Mall: extra 5% off with AEON Gold on Oct 30
The 20th and 30th of each month are “Thanks Days” for AEON Gold Card members: pay with the Gold card at a specialty store in an AEON Mall and get 5% off your bill. The only one inside MUJI Week is Friday, October 30 (Oct 20 was before it, and Nov 20 comes after).
- Credit payments with an AEON Gold Card (including the Gold version of AEON Card Select), or AEON Pay linked to the Gold card
- AEON Pay top-up payments, WAON touch payments and WAON POINT don’t count
- Some specialty stores and items are excluded
That’s another 5% off the member price, so you pay 85.5% of the list price. It can’t be combined with AirWALLET in one transaction either, so split the bill the same way as at Marui: AirWALLET up to ¥3,334, the rest on the Gold card.

How much do you actually save?
By rate alone AirWALLET wins, but because of the cap, the more you spend, the more the card discount matters. Say you buy ¥10,000 worth at the member price: AirWALLET alone stops at ¥500 back. Split the bill at a Marui store and you get ¥500 back on the first ¥3,334 and about ¥667 off the remaining ¥6,666: about ¥1,167 saved in total.

Key dates
The Marui days are the first three days of MUJI Week, so if you’re shopping at Marui, go this first weekend. MUJI itself warns that stores will be busy and popular items may sell out, so if you know what you want, go early.
¥99 essentials: about ¥89 for members
MUJI has a good range of ¥99 essentials: trash bags, kitchen consumables and so on. ¥99 × 0.9 = ¥89.1, so during MUJI Week each one is about ¥89 (check your receipt for how the fraction is rounded). As of the March 2026 listings, these were ¥99:
- Kitchen: coffee filters, shallow and deep sink strainer nets, chopsticks, spoons, forks
- Disposable tableware & paper: bamboo spoons, bamboo skewers, bagasse-and-bamboo plates and food boxes, pocket tissues, paper napkins, toothpicks
- Cleaning & daily use: alcohol-free and antibacterial wet wipes, floor wiper sheets (dry and wet), spot-stain laundry soap
- Trash bags & storage: trash bags (14 L, 20 L, 30 L, 45 L), single-sided clear cases, polyethylene bags

- MUJI app: install it and register/log in with your email (you’ll show the member card at the register)
- AirWALLET: sign up (referral code ca4xwqe), link a bank account and verify your identity, link your Recruit ID, enter the 15% campaign, top up
- Going to Marui: bring the physical EPOS Gold/Platinum card (smartphone payments don’t count)
- Going to an AEON Mall: on Oct 30, have the Gold card or AEON Pay linked to it

FAQ
- Q. Can I use AirWALLET and an EPOS Gold card in the same transaction?
- No. AirWALLET’s 15% back doesn’t cover payments split with cash or another method. Pay in two transactions: AirWALLET first, then the card.
- Q. Do credit card discounts stack with MUJI Week’s 10% off?
- Yes. MUJI’s official FAQ says discounts that a card company applies at billing can be combined with it. The card discount comes off the amount after the member price.
- Q. Do I get 15% back if I pay through the MUJI app’s payment feature?
- No. Only payments where you show the QR code or barcode in the AirWALLET app (or COIN+ in the MUFG Bank app) count. The terms exclude COIN+ payments made through other apps such as the MUJI app.
- Q. Can I enter the AirWALLET campaign after I’ve already paid?
- Yes. As long as you enter by 23:59 on Nov 2, payments made before entry also count. Make sure your Recruit ID and COIN+ account are linked too.
- Q. Does an EPOS Gold card in Apple Pay get the 10% off at Marui?
- No. Apple Pay, Google Pay, QUICPay and Osaifu-Keitai are excluded. Pay with the physical card or EPOS Pay.
- Q. Does a regular EPOS card get the extra 10% off at Marui?
- Not this time. Oct 23–25 is for Gold and Platinum members only.
- Q. Does a regular (non-Gold) AEON card get 5% off on Oct 30?
- No. The Thanks Day 5% off at AEON Mall specialty stores is a perk for AEON Gold Card members.
- Q. Is the online store 10% off too?
- Yes. Log in before you shop and the cart shows the discounted price. Orders paid by 10:00 am on Nov 4 (Wed) count; guest checkout doesn’t.
