Hattendo × Jonathan’s & Musashino Mori Coffee: First Collaboration Launches October 22
Skylark Restaurants Co., Ltd., which operates Jonathan’s and Musashino Mori Coffee, will launch its first-ever collaboration sweets with Hattendo, the brand famous for its cream buns, starting Thursday, October 22, 2026. Featuring Hattendo’s silky “melting custard cream,” Jonathan’s pairs it with in-season wase (early-ripening) mikan, while Musashino Mori Coffee combines it with its signature chilled pancakes in a lineup of limited-time desserts.

¥899 (¥989 incl. tax). Fluffy pancakes are layered with smooth custard cream and caramelized brûlée-style. One whole wase mikan’s worth of fruit is sandwiched between the pancakes, making for a perfect match of tangy-sweet citrus and custard.
Hattendo Melting Custard Cream Mini Parfait (Wase Mikan)
¥499 (¥549 incl. tax). Enjoying the custard cream together with soft-serve ice cream brings out a rich, creamy depth. A great choice for after a meal.
Musashino Mori Coffee: Signature Pancakes Go Brûlée
Hattendo Melting Custard Cream Brûlée Chilled Pancakes
¥1,380 (¥1,518 incl. tax) – ¥1,630 (¥1,793 incl. tax). The brand’s signature cool, moist pancakes are generously topped with Hattendo’s special custard cream, then finished with a crisp, caramelized brûlée surface. A framboise sauce served on the side lets you switch up the flavor.

Jonathan’s: “Happy Wase Mikan Sweets” Return
Following last year’s popularity, desserts made with wase mikan from Arida, Wakayama Prefecture, with a sugar content of 12° Brix or higher, are back this year.

Musashino Mori Coffee: Italian Chestnut Mont Blanc Sweets
The popular annual Mont Blanc desserts are back. The marron paste, made from 100% Italian chestnuts, is freshly piped for each order (the shibukawa chestnuts with their inner skin are not Italian). Sales periods vary by item.

About Hattendo
Hattendo was founded in 1933 as a Japanese confectionery shop in Mihara, Hiroshima Prefecture. Adapting its business over the years, it now delivers products nationwide, led by its signature cream buns meant to be enjoyed chilled.
