The 19th Nagoya Antique Market (第19回 名古屋アンティークマーケット) runs from November 21 to 23, 2026, across two temple venues and nearby spaces in central Nagoya. This is its first three-day edition, with more than 300 exhibitor appearances across the weekend—not 300 different stalls operating at once.
For a first visit, the key choice is where to start: Higashi Betsuin has the larger antiques market and themed indoor sections, while Nishi Betsuin focuses on Nordic and Eastern European pieces alongside overseas vintage clothing. Their opening hours differ, and early entry applies to Nishi Betsuin.

Tickets and choosing a day
The announced three-day early-entry ticket costs ¥3,300 and includes a limited-edition rubber wristband. Early-ticket holders can enter Nishi Betsuin at 9:00; the announcement does not extend that early opening to Higashi Betsuin.
A single day lets you choose the sections that interest you most. Returning on another day gives you a different selection: the central rotating area at Higashi Betsuin changes its ten shops daily, and vintage clothing and food lineups also vary.
The organizer says previous editions attracted the biggest crowds on the opening Saturday. Sunday or Monday may suit visitors hoping for a slower browse, but quieter conditions are not guaranteed. Equally, an item seen on one day may no longer be available when you return.

If you want to see both temples, starting at Nishi Betsuin makes practical sense: it opens earlier and closes at 16:30, while Higashi Betsuin remains open until 17:00. Check the day’s stall list before deciding how long to spend at each.

The East Area is the place to start if you want a broad mix of furniture, lighting, tableware, glass and older household objects. The temple grounds will host 99 antique and vintage shops, with a ten-shop vintage clothing area along the approach.

The food lineup includes 23 food trucks and 19 food-and-drink retail stalls, with vendors changing by day. Indoors, separate themes make it easier to focus your browsing.
Used books and records
The Books and Records area (古本と、レコードと。) brings ten shops to the temple’s Taimensho reception hall. It is a useful stop if your idea of a good find is an old magazine, a book cover or a record sleeve rather than a large piece of furniture.

Retro household goods and toys
The Retro Market (レトロマーケット), on the first floor of Higashi Betsuin Kaikan, has 11 shops specializing in Showa- and Heisei-era objects. Expect period tableware, toys and miscellaneous household goods rather than newly made retro-style products.

Textiles and craft supplies
Fiber Fabric Fair occupies the second floor of Higashi Betsuin Kaikan. Ten shops will bring fabrics, yarn, sewing supplies and rugs from Japan and overseas—a section to prioritize if you sew, make things or enjoy choosing textiles for your home.

A body-care stop
The Wellness Hall (癒しの館), in Higashi Betsuin’s kendo hall, will have four acupuncture and body-care providers. Treatment prices and booking arrangements are not specified in the announcement; check before using a service.

Nishi Betsuin: European antiques and overseas vintage
The West Area’s theme is Nordic Meets Eastern Europe, with 26 antique shops specializing in Nordic vintage, Eastern European goods and other European vintage pieces. This is the section to prioritize for comparing different styles of European homeware and decoration.
Inside the main hall’s first-floor space, VINTAGE FROM ABROAD brings together five overseas vintage shops. The Cultural Hall also hosts six vintage clothing shops from across Japan.
| Overseas shop | From |
|---|---|
| Old Things Make Friends | United Kingdom |
| Ratta Montta | South Korea |
| Daychild Vintage | Hong Kong |
| Vintage Buddy | Hong Kong |
| A·PRANK : DOLLY | Taiwan |

Markets around the neighborhood
Satellite events extend the visit beyond the two temples. However, several schedules were still undecided in the announcement, so do not assume every nearby market runs on all three days.
