Dishes worth seeing before you go
Photos were released for four of the ten restaurants. Here is what those plates look like, so you can plan your first stop.
TOKYO Ebi Fry: a fried shrimp tasting and an all-shrimp curry
The ¥1,400 fried shrimp set pairs two different shrimp: one with a firm, bouncy bite and one that is moist and rich. Both can be eaten whole, head included.
Image: 株式会社ライブエグザム (from the PR TIMES press release)The curry (also ¥1,400) uses shrimp bisque as its base and comes topped with a shrimp cutlet packed with chunks of shrimp.
Image: 株式会社ライブエグザム (from the PR TIMES press release)Kanizanmai: snow crab sushi and tempura
The crab specialist brings a ¥1,200 four-piece set that mixes plain snow crab sushi with crab-mayo gunkan rolls.
Image: 株式会社ライブエグザム (from the PR TIMES press release)At ¥2,000, the snow crab tempura (two pieces) is one of the two priciest plates at the festival, fried to order with a crisp batter.
Image: 株式会社ライブエグザム (from the PR TIMES press release)Mavericks Seafood: garlic shrimp and lobster croquettes
From Ageo in Saitama, this stall does North Shore style Hawaiian garlic shrimp with fries for ¥1,000. Plenty of garlic, large shrimp, and an easy match with beer.
Image: 株式会社ライブエグザム (from the PR TIMES press release)Its ¥800 cream croquettes are made with Canadian lobster, including the tomalley and roe, so the filling is rich and creamy.
Image: 株式会社ライブエグザム (from the PR TIMES press release)Makigama Bistro Oltre: pizza you eat like a hot dog
This Tochigi bistro fries pizza dough until crisp outside and chewy inside, then fills it like a hot dog. The ¥1,000 version uses stir-fried shrimp and Malaysian sambal; the ¥1,200 one uses red snow crab, potato and a lemongrass curry sauce.
Image: 株式会社ライブエグザム (from the PR TIMES press release)No photos yet for the rest, but two stand out on paper: SUSHI BAR COZY’s ¥2,000 crab shell piled with crab miso, flaked meat, three legs and salmon roe, and Arabesque Yomensho’s crab cream soup pasta with a whole fried soft-shell crab on top.

Every beer is ¥800. There is also an official bar, Ebikani BAR; its menu has not been announced. Alcohol is not sold to anyone under 20.
