Starting April 7, 2026, JR West is offering four new ticket products redeemable with WESTER Points through its online booking platform e5489. The headline news: Gran Class tickets are available via points redemption for the very first time, with discounts reaching up to 75% off regular fares.
① Super Discount Ticket (J-WEST Card Members Only · Sanyo Shinkansen)
Covers Green Car and reserved ordinary seating on Sanyo Shinkansen Nozomi, Hikari, and Kodama trains between Shin-Osaka and Hakata.
- J-WEST Gold Card members: approx. 65% off (Shin-Osaka–Hakata, Nozomi reserved ordinary, standard period → 5,600 points)
- J-WEST Card members: approx. 60% off (same route → 6,400 points)
- Mizuho, Sakura, and Tsubame trains are excluded
