Save ¥100 on Beef Bowls and More at Yoshinoya
Yoshinoya will hold its Autumn Gyudon Festival at participating restaurants across Japan from 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 15, to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. Selected items, including beef bowls, takeout beef bowl meals and beef plates, will be ¥100 off their regular tax-inclusive prices. All varieties and sizes of the eligible items are included, so customers can choose their preferred portion or topping.
The promotion covers more than dine-in beef bowls: takeout beef bowl meals and family-size beef plates are also eligible. Delivery orders are excluded. Some restaurants will not participate, and prices may vary by location, so check the details at the restaurant you plan to visit.
Marking 20 Years Since the Beef Bowl Comeback Festival
The campaign marks the 20th anniversary of Yoshinoya’s Beef Bowl Comeback Festival, held on September 18, 2006. That one-day event celebrated the return of beef bowls to the menu.
Founded in 1899, Yoshinoya has long made gyudon its signature dish. This autumn’s promotion is intended to thank regular customers and give more people an opportunity to enjoy its beef bowls.

- Beef plate set meals (牛皿定食)
- Mini beef bowl sets (ミニ牛丼セット)
- Beef curry (牛カレー)
- Extra beef side portions (肉だく／牛小鉢)
- Small beef side dishes included in set meals or combinations
- The Okinawa-only item ビフタコ
For example, an individual beef plate qualifies, while a beef plate set meal does not. Checking the Japanese menu name can help distinguish them when ordering. The ¥100 discount does not apply to delivery orders.
Dine In During the Festival to Receive Coupons for Later
During the festival, customers who dine in will receive coupons valid after the event ends. Distribution runs from 11 a.m. on October 15 to 3 p.m. on October 21, matching the festival period. Coupons are available only while supplies last.

- One 10%-off takeout coupon
The coupon validity period runs from 3 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, through midnight at the end of Monday, November 9, 2026. It begins when the ¥100-off festival ends. The announcement specifies dine-in customers as the recipients: the fact that takeout beef bowl meals qualify for the festival discount does not mean takeout customers also qualify to receive the coupons.
Beef Sukiyaki Hot Pot Sets Return October 23 at 11 a.m.
Yoshinoya’s winter staple, the beef sukiyaki hot pot set, 牛すき鍋膳, goes on sale at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 23, 2026, at restaurants across Japan. Some locations will not sell it, and prices may vary.
The ¥50-off coupons distributed during the festival can be used for the hot pot set once it goes on sale. Although the overall coupon period starts on October 21, redemption for this dish begins on October 23 at 11 a.m. The announcement does not state the hot pot set’s selling price.
The campaign therefore has two stages: ¥100 off selected beef dishes from October 15, followed by the chance to use the distributed coupons. When planning a visit, remember that the festival ends at 3 p.m. on its final day, while the hot pot set launches at 11 a.m. two days later.
