Sushiro Rolls Out New ‘Sushiro Points’ Loyalty Program
Akindo Sushiro Co., Ltd. (part of FOOD & LIFE COMPANIES), operator of Japan’s popular conveyor-belt sushi chain, launched its new loyalty program “Sushiro Points” on Monday, June 1, 2026. Built around the concept “The more you eat, the more you earn!”, the program lets customers accumulate points for every 100 yen (tax included) spent, and introduces selectable rewards and a membership rank system for a more rewarding and enjoyable dining experience.
Previously, Sushiro offered the “Maido Points” program earned through app reservations, as well as the “Dakko-zushi Stamp Card” for children in 6th grade or below. The new “Sushiro Points” program renews these into a more flexible system tailored to each customer’s style.
Four Great Benefits of ‘Sushiro Points’
1. Earn More as You Eat More
Present your “Sushiro App” membership card at the register when paying to earn 1 point for every 100 yen (tax included) spent. While the old “Maido Points” awarded just 1 point per visit, you now earn points based on your total spend.
2. Exchange Points for Rewards
Accumulated points can be exchanged for your choice of rewards, including “discount coupons,” “original goods,” and the ever-popular “Kansha Maido Mori” platter. Some rewards are designed especially for children.
3. Special Birthday Month Coupons
Register the birthday months of yourself and your children (6th grade or below, up to 5 people) to receive a “5% OFF in-store coupon” and “Puchiro Coins” to spin the Puchiro Gacha during your birthday month.
4. Rank Up for a Higher Earn Rate
Your membership rank changes based on your points. Earn 200 cumulative points over 12 months to become a Gold member the following month, boosting your point earn rate to 1.5x so points add up even faster.
