MOS Burger Launches the ‘Hokkaido Tomato Festival’ Across Hokkaido
MOS Food Services, Inc. (President: Eisuke Nakamura; HQ: Shinagawa, Tokyo), operator of MOS Burger, will hold the ‘Hokkaido Tomato Festival’ for 10 days from Friday, July 17 to Sunday, July 26, 2026, timed to “Hokkaido Minna no Hi” (Hokkaido Everyone’s Day) on July 17. The event runs at 49 MOS Burger stores across Hokkaido (all stores except special locations). During the period, every menu item made with fresh tomatoes will use Hokkaido-grown tomatoes, alongside region- and period-limited products.
A Thank-You for “Hokkaido Everyone’s Day”
“Hokkaido Everyone’s Day” is a commemorative day established in 2017 to rediscover the value of Hokkaido and share its appeal. This campaign was planned to express gratitude to the local communities and customers who support MOS Burger, letting them enjoy delicious local vegetables while cheering on regional growers.
The initiative of using Hokkaido-grown tomatoes at stores within the prefecture began in 2016 and marks its 9th edition this year. This time, tomatoes are sourced from four producing areas among MOS’s contract farms in Hokkaido: “MOS Farm Mukawa,” “JA Date City Tomato Division,” “Air Water Farm Chitose,” and “JA Biratori Vegetable Production Promotion Association Tomato & Cucumber Division.”
Two Region- and Period-Limited Burgers
During the festival, MOS will serve region- and period-limited items generously made with Hokkaido-grown tomatoes—juicy, hearty burgers available only during this window.
Tobikiri Extra Tomato MOS Vegetable Cheeseburger (920 yen)
A patty made from 100% domestic beef and sliced cheese sit atop a Hokkaido tomato, layered with lettuce, onion, and a second Hokkaido tomato. Seasoned with a half-mayonnaise type dressing and aurora sauce, it delivers the full flavor of abundant vegetables. The firm, meaty 100% domestic beef patty paired with plenty of vegetables creates a rich, juicy, region-exclusive burger.
Tobikiri Extra Tomato Chili Burger (920 yen)
A 100% domestic beef patty rests on a Hokkaido tomato, combined with onion and a second Hokkaido tomato. Seasoned with Japanese-style BBQ sauce and hot chili sauce, the slightly spicy sauce draws out the tomato’s flavor.

Store Staff to Visit the Production Site
Ahead of the event, on Tuesday, July 7, store managers and staff from Hokkaido will visit “MOS Farm Mukawa” (Mukawa Town, Yufutsu District, Hokkaido)—a contract farm and one of the tomato-producing sites for this campaign. By seeing firsthand how the vegetables used in stores are grown and harvested, staff experience the value of freshly picked produce and deepen exchanges with growers. About 10 to 20 Hokkaido store staff are expected to participate.
