What this event is
Tokyo has many antenna shops. These stores are run by prefectures and regions and sell local food, sweets and crafts. You can find specialties from across Japan without leaving the city.
This autumn and winter, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government (東京都) and the Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau (公益財団法人東京観光財団) are running an event built around these shops. TSP Taiyo Co., Ltd. handles the planning and operation. It has two parts:
- Tokyo Antenna Shop Tour Event (都内アンテナショップ周遊イベント): a stamp rally, an online quiz rally and an Instagram campaign. Winners are drawn by lottery, and 2,100 people across both rounds will receive products picked by the antenna shops.
- JAPAN SELECT Oshi-Uma Market 2026 (全国物産展 JAPAN SELECT 推しうまーけっと2026): a pop-up market with regional specialties from all 47 prefectures. It is held twice, at KITTE Marunouchi and then at AEON MALL Musashi Murayama.
Oshi means your personal favorite. The theme of the whole event is finding a favorite local product from somewhere in Japan.

Start with the free Antenna Shop Guidebook. It explains how to join and lists each shop’s recommended products, address and opening hours. Participating shops will hand it out from Friday, October 30, 2026 for Round 1, while supplies last. The list of participating shops is published by the organizers.

Stamp rally: build a map of Japan

The stamp rally (都内アンテナショップ周遊 全国推し発見 スタンプラリー) works like a jigsaw puzzle. Each participating shop has a QR code. When you scan it, you get points, and each point is one piece of a map of Japan. Visit every participating shop and the map is complete.
You join with a smartphone or tablet. The more points you collect, the more prizes you can enter for.
| Prize | Value | Winners |
|---|---|---|
| 5pt Prize | Worth ¥1,000 | 300 |
| 30pt Prize | Worth ¥2,500 | 150 |
| Area Tour Prize | Worth ¥2,000 | 200 |
| Complete Prize | Worth ¥4,500 | 50 |
These prizes are offered in each round. The exact entry rules for each prize are on the official site.
The announcement also shows sample stamp designs from three shops. Each one features a symbol of its region:

Online quiz rally: join from anywhere

The quiz rally (オンラインでどこでも参加!全国推し発見 クイズラリー) runs online. You do not have to visit a shop. The questions cover regional specialties, food and travel spots around Japan, and your score decides which prizes you can enter for.
| Prize | Value | Winners |
|---|---|---|
| 10 Correct Answers Prize | Worth ¥1,000 | 200 |
| All Correct Prize | Worth ¥2,000 | 100 |
These prizes are offered in each round.
Instagram campaign and free stickers

The Instagram campaign runs longer than the rallies. It is open until January 31, 2027. Here is how to enter:
- Follow the event’s official Instagram account.
- Take a photo of one of these: a product you bought at a participating shop, a dish from a restaurant attached to a shop, or the original sticker you got as a participation gift.
- Post it with #全国推し発見 and a hashtag with the shop’s name.
Shops taking part in the stamp rally and quiz rally count for this campaign. The prize is a product chosen by the antenna shops, worth ¥2,500, for 100 winners.
Free stickers: buy something at a participating shop or at the market during the event, and you get an original sticker. Each design is different. Round 1 has 55 designs and Round 2 has 54. They are given out while supplies last.

If the disaster support corner makes you want to help Kumamoto further, our guide to JAL’s Kyushu recovery flight and hotel discount covers another way to support the region.
Tips to get more out of it
- Pick up the guidebook first. It lists each shop’s address and hours, so you can plan a route before you start scanning.
- Buy something small at each shop. Purchases earn you a sticker, and those same items are what you photograph for the Instagram campaign.
- Not in Tokyo? The quiz rally is online, so you can still enter for prizes from anywhere in Japan.
- Group your market shopping. The gacha needs a ¥2,500 total, so buying at the market in one go helps.
- Follow the official X account early. The ¥1,000 voucher giveaway runs for each market round.
- Check how each shop takes payment. It varies by shop. If you are still choosing a card, see our guide to credit cards for foreigners in Japan.
Like regional food? Furusato nozei lets you receive local products from prefectures you support. For more weekend outings, try the Musashino Art University festival or the deals in our Asoview campaign guide.
