Musashino Mura (むさしの村) is a family amusement park in Kazo, Saitama, with its own farm and a petting ranch. For one weekend this autumn it is celebrating its local udon. Musashino Mura de Uddon (むさしの村deうっどーん) runs on Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 1, 2026.

The main draw is a tasting set that lets you compare four kinds of handmade Kazo udon side by side. Around it, the park has planned a quiz, a photo spot and a coloring activity, all themed on udon and aimed at kids. Below is what is on, when to show up, and what we could not confirm.

The four-kind udon tasting set

Kazo has been famous for its udon for more than 300 years. Around 60 places in the city serve udon, and 21 of them belong to the Kazo Handmade Udon Association (加須手打うどん会). Kazo udon is prized for its glossy surface, fresh texture, firm chew and its smooth feel going down, typical of hand-cut noodles.

Over the two days, six shops take part, three per day. Each tasting set combines udon from that day’s three Kazo shops with one made by Musashino Mura itself.
