The fifth-year theme: treat breads
To mark five years in Minami-Osawa, the limited breads share a theme called 5 (go) hōbi pan (5(ご)褒美パン). It is a small pun: go means five in Japanese, and gohōbi means a treat or reward. So the idea is a bread you buy to reward yourself after a long week, or to take along as a gift.
Each bakery has made one bread that is a little more indulgent than its usual range, using richer ingredients. These are sold only at the festival.

Things to check before you go
- Plan your day around the bakeries you want. If you are after Komorebi Table, go on the weekend. For the fritza shop Semoa!, go on Monday 2 or Tuesday 3 November. Everyone else is there all four days.
- Limited breads are festival-only. The 8 treat breads above are made for this event, so you will not find them at the shops afterwards.
- Prices and stock are not announced yet. The press release gives no prices, quantities or purchase limits. Check the official page, the official X account or Instagram for updates and any lineup changes.
- Payment methods are not listed either. The announcement does not say whether stalls take cards or QR payments, so it is safer to confirm on the official page. If you are still sorting out cards in Japan, our guide to credit cards foreigners can get first walks through the options.
- The outlet mall is right there. Part of the festival is inside the outlet mall, so it is easy to combine a bread run with shopping.
