Coming by subway? Kamiyacho Station connects directly to the station plaza at the entrance of Azabudai Hills. From there, the Sakura-asa street (桜麻通り) leads to the Central Plaza, and this year it gets its first-ever light-up in champagne gold, so the walk from the station is part of the show.

Food and drink: all 15 stalls

The food line-up mixes popular shops from inside Azabudai Hills with guests from around Japan and abroad. The five newcomers are edén (a complex in Katsuura), Frites Bruges, Pizza Panuozzo di AZABUDAI, DEMMERS TEEHAUS and ØC tokyo.

A few stalls worth knowing about:

  • Frites Bruges is a Belgian fries shop from Asakusa, founded in May 2021. It uses only fresh potatoes from Japanese farms and fries them twice in the traditional Belgian way.
  • DEMMERS TEEHAUS is a tea brand from Vienna, Austria, with a shop in Roppongi since 2008. Besides Sachertorte it brings apple strudel and a hot spiced apple drink called Apfelpunsch.
  • Dining 33, the grand bistro produced by chef Kiyomi Mikuni, brings back last year’s raclette, with plenty of cheese poured over vegetables and sausage.
  • German Christmas Drink Stand imports its mulled wine directly from Germany, including rare 100% apple and 100% grape types, plus a non-alcoholic version.

Christmas goods: 4 shops and gift sets

If you are shopping for decorations or presents, the four goods shops are the reason to go. All four sell gift sets with several items packed together and offer gift wrapping.
