Kentucky Fried Chicken Japan announced the second installment of its Sakutto Kenta series, featuring the new Karauma Zinger (Spicy Zinger) and the highly requested return of Colonel Crunch Potato, available at KFC outlets nationwide from Wednesday, June 3, 2026 in limited quantities.
The Anytime, Anywhere, New Style Concept
As the boundary between meals and snacks blurs and borderless dining occasions expand, KFC responded to these lifestyle shifts this spring by launching the Sakutto Kenta series under the concept of Anytime, Anywhere, New Style. Designed for snacking, light meals, or adding one more item to your order, the series fits naturally into lunch breaks, after-school hours, work intervals, and other everyday moments, delivering a fresh KFC experience.
Introducing the New Karauma Zinger
The newly launched Karauma Zinger features juicy boneless thigh meat with a crispy crust, seasoned with chili peppers for a bold spicy flavor. Inspired by the popular spicy flavors offered at KFC overseas, this product has been adapted to suit Japanese tastes. After approximately one year of development, each piece is carefully hand-breaded in-store and fried without pressure to achieve the signature freshly-cooked crispiness. Its stick shape makes it easy to hold and enjoy on the go.
Colonel Crunch Potato Returns by Popular Demand
Following its debut in March this year and overwhelming requests for its return, the Colonel Crunch Potato makes its long-awaited comeback.
