Gusto, the family restaurant chain operated by the Skylark Group, is launching a collaboration campaign with the movie Minions & Monsters, which opens nationwide in Japan on August 7, 2026. The campaign runs from Thursday, July 30, 2026 at all Gusto locations across Japan, featuring themed menu items that look like they jumped straight out of the film, plus limited-quantity original goods available only at Gusto — fun for kids and adults alike.

Four Collab Menu Items
Gusto’s star menu item, the Cheese-IN Hamburg Steak, gets a visit from a Minion movie star, complete with Minions-design picks, placemats, and star-shaped fries.
- Minion Star Mini Cheese-IN Hamburg Steak — ¥1,299 (¥1,429 incl. tax): topped with star-shaped fries representing the ‘star actor’ and popcorn shrimp inspired by movie-night popcorn, served with a rich black demi-glace sauce.
- Minion Garlic Steak Pilaf — ¥1,399 (¥1,539 incl. tax): comes with a pirate-Minion pick and a nautical-chart placemat; garlic soy sauce and garlic chips give it an addictive savory flavor.
- Megaphone Dip Fries & Popcorn Shrimp — ¥899 (¥989 incl. tax): star-shaped fries and popcorn shrimp packed in a wrapper styled after a film director’s megaphone, with cheese sauce, ketchup, and mayo for dipping.
- Minion & Goomy Mini Sundae — ¥799 (¥879 incl. tax): a refreshing tropical sundae with melon jelly and mango, accented with a star-shaped chocolate.
Two classic favorites — the Combo Teishoku (sweet glaze, 4 pcs) & Drink Bar Set and the Negitoro Bowl (with miso soup and pickles) & Drink Bar Set (each ¥1,399 / ¥1,539 incl. tax) — also come with the original goods.
Limited-Quantity Original Goods
Order an eligible menu item and choose one exclusive Gusto goodie (limit one per person per menu item).
Wave 1: from July 30 (Thu)
- Minions Mini Bottle (2 designs) — a clear bottle covered in playful Minions artwork (approx. 300 ml), perfect for summer outings.
- Minions Slide Puzzle — slide the tiles to complete the picture; fun for all ages.
Wave 2: from August 20 (Thu, planned)
- Minions Cup (2 designs) — an easy-to-use plastic cup (approx. 260 ml) for everyday life.
- Minions Secret Pen & Memo — shine the special light on the memo pad to reveal words and drawings written with the invisible-ink pen.
Designs cannot be chosen. Goods end when supplies run out, and Wave 2 may start early depending on Wave 1 stock.
