A New Autumn Edition of Burger King’s Popular Series
BK Japan Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo), which operates Burger King in Japan, will release three limited-time items in the new Autumn Special Mushroom Whopper lineup starting Friday, October 23, 2026. The Mushroom Whopper has become one of Burger King’s go-to limited-time series, and the star of this new edition is the Original Herb Sauce, a new-style sauce that pairs the fresh notes of oregano and thyme with a spicy kick.

A flame-grilled 100% beef patty is generously topped with four kinds of roasted mushrooms: two varieties of mushroom, king oyster mushrooms (eryngii), and bunashimeji (brown beech mushrooms). Fresh lettuce, tomato, and onion are layered on, and it is finished with the Original Herb Sauce and a creamy mayo sauce. It is a hearty burger that lets you enjoy aromatic mushrooms and a new-style sauce in every bite.
Autumn Special Double Mushroom Whopper
The extra-hearty version with two flame-grilled 100% beef patties. The four mushrooms, vegetables, herb sauce, and mayo sauce stay the same, making it a seriously satisfying burger.
Autumn Special Mushroom Whopper Jr.
A smaller, more affordable Jr. size is also available, a good choice when you want something lighter.
Note that the Original Herb Sauce contains spicy ingredients, so take care if you are sensitive to heat.

The Original Mushroom Whopper Is Still Available
The Mushroom Whopper, Double Mushroom Whopper, and Mushroom Whopper Jr., launched on Friday, September 18, 2026, remain on the menu. They also feature the four mushrooms and flame-grilled beef, paired with a creamy Premium Pepper Mayo Sauce that combines savory onion and coarse black pepper with a hint of charred soy sauce aroma. Prices for each size, both à la carte and in sets, are the same as the Autumn Special versions.
With a refreshing herb sauce on the new edition and pepper and charred soy on the original, a side-by-side taste comparison is well worth trying.
One Week Only: Up to ¥300 Off Mushroom Whopper Sets
From Friday, October 23 to Thursday, October 29, 2026, an in-store campaign takes ¥300 off (up to 23% off) four Mushroom Whopper sets and ¥100 off two Jr.-size sets.

Things to Know Before You Go
At stores serving breakfast, these items are sold from 10:30 a.m. onward, and sales hours vary by location. Sales may also be temporarily suspended depending on store conditions. The following three stores do not sell any of the six Mushroom Whopper items (Autumn Special and original) and are not participating in the campaign. Some other stores also do not carry them.
