On Sunday 18 October 2026, the residents of HARUMI FLAG, the neighborhood built on the former Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Athletes’ Village, are turning the waterfront Harumi Futo Park (晴海ふ頭公園) into a Halloween venue for the day. Entry is free, every activity is free, and you do not have to live in Harumi to come along.
The official name is the Harumi Futo Park Halloween Event 2026 (晴海ふ頭公園ハロウィンイベント2026). This year adds three things the event has not done before: a flea market where all 70 stalls are run by local residents, a walk-around Halloween mystery hunt, and a larger area that now reaches the Harumi Passenger Terminal (晴海客船ターミナル).

HARUMI FLAG is a new neighborhood of around 5,700 households. The event is planned and run entirely by residents, and about 3,000 people came last year. It sits alongside the summer Bon Odori dance festival the residents have held since 2024, as the second big community event of the year.
The residents’ Halloween flea market
This is the first proper flea market held in Harumi Futo Park since HARUMI FLAG opened. All 70 stalls are run by people who live in HARUMI FLAG, DEUX TOURS or Harumi Terrace. Commercial traders cannot take part, so what you find is what local families no longer need, plus things residents have made themselves.

Expect items like these:
- Picture books, toys and manga
- Second-hand clothes
- Stationery and kitchen goods
- Handmade crafts and accessories
Each stall is a 3 m by 3 m plot, and stallholders have been asked to decorate theirs for Halloween. Some will be minding their stalls in costume, so a simple walk through the market already feels like part of the party.

Halloween mystery hunt and stamp rally
Both activities start at the main tent, are free and need no booking.

Halloween mystery hunt (all ages)
A group of puzzle-loving residents built this one from scratch, and it is the first time it has run. Children follow posters around the park to crack the puzzles. Adults can go a step further and use a smartphone to uncover the true secret behind the story.
- Start any time between 11:00 and 17:00
- Takes about 60 minutes
- Free, no booking
- Everything closes at 17:00, so starting by around 16:00 is recommended
How it works:
- Pick up a puzzle booklet at the main tent.
- Find the posters around the park and collect the hidden clues.
- Use the clues to solve the puzzles in the booklet.
- Adults can then take on the final challenge on a smartphone.
Where the finish is and what you get at the end are only revealed to those who solve it. It works at your own pace, so it suits families pushing a stroller as well as groups of friends.
Halloween stamp rally (preschoolers)
This is for preschool children with a parent or guardian. Pick up a stamp card at the main tent, find the five checkpoints hidden around the park, collect every stamp and head for the goal.

How to get there
The nearest car park is closed for the whole day, so plan on public transport. Two bus routes stop right next to the park.

| Route | How to get there |
|---|---|
| Toei Bus | Route To 05-1 (都05-1) from Tokyo Station Marunouchi South Exit and other stops. Get off at Harumi Futo (晴海ふ頭), right by the park |
| Tokyo BRT | From Shimbashi Station, take the bus bound for HARUMI FLAG. Get off at Harumi Futo Koen (晴海ふ頭公園), right by the park |
| Train and walk | Toei Oedo Line to Kachidoki Station (勝どき駅), Exit A4, then about 20 minutes on foot |
You will be outdoors from late morning to early evening, and phones drain fast on a puzzle hunt. If you have a docomo d account, the d VALUE PASS guide to free ChargeSPOT power bank rentals is worth a look before the day.
What the 2025 event looked like
These photos are from last year’s event, when around 3,000 people came. They give a feel for the crowd and the decorations by the waterfront towers.

The announcement does not list a stage programme for 2026, so check the official event page for this year’s line-up.
