JR Kyushu began selling the “JR Kyupo Reward Unlimited Ride Pass” (JRキューポ特典乗り放題きっぷ) on June 27, 2026. By redeeming 10,000 JR Kyupo points — the common loyalty points of the JR Kyushu Group — travelers get unlimited rides on JR Kyushu trains, including the Kyushu Shinkansen and limited express services, for two consecutive days.

What Trains Are Covered
The pass allows unlimited use of non-reserved ordinary-class seats on the following services:
- Kyushu Shinkansen (Hakata – Kagoshima-Chuo)
- Nishi-Kyushu Shinkansen (Takeo-Onsen – Nagasaki)
- Conventional-line limited express trains
- Local and rapid trains
- Hita-Hikosan Line BRT
To use reserved ordinary-class seats or Green Car reserved seats, you must purchase a separate reserved-seat limited express ticket or a limited express ticket plus Green Car ticket.
Sections Not Covered
- Sanyo Shinkansen between Hakata and Kokura (operated by JR West)
- Hakata-Minami Line between Hakata and Hakata-Minami
How to Buy and Pick Up
The pass is sold only through the JR Kyushu Internet Train Reservation service, and can be purchased up to the day before travel — same-day purchase is not possible. Before boarding, you must pick up the physical ticket at a Midori-no-Madoguchi ticket office or a reserved-seat ticket machine at the station.
Blackout Dates
Although sold year-round, the pass cannot be used during the following peak periods:
- August 10–19 every year (Obon holidays)
- December 28 – January 6 every year (New Year holidays)
- April 27 – May 6 every year (Golden Week)
- September 19–27, 2026 (additional blackout period for 2026)
Launch Campaign: Redeem for Just 8,000 Points
To celebrate the launch, JR Kyushu is running a campaign where the pass can be redeemed for just 8,000 JR Kyupo points instead of 10,000 — a saving of 2,000 points.
