JR East Adds the Otona no Kyujitsu Pass Special
JR East has announced an additional release of the Special Edition Eki-net-Only Otona no Kyujitsu Pass Special (特別設定 えきねっと限定 大人の休日パス スペシャル). Available to members of the Otona no Kyujitsu Club, this rail pass offers unlimited rides for five consecutive days within designated JR East and JR Hokkaido areas. The usage period runs from November 26 to December 5, 2026, and sales run from October 26 to November 30. It is a timely option for members planning a late-autumn to early-winter trip around eastern Japan and Hokkaido.

This is an additional release and, as the name suggests, it is sold exclusively via Eki-net. Since you must purchase through Eki-net, it is a good idea to get set up in advance.

Six prices are set, based on the combination of area and seat class (ordinary car or Green Car).

Cost per Day
Divided over five days, the JR East Area pass works out to ¥4,000 per day for ordinary cars and ¥7,200 for Green Cars. The JR East and Hokkaido Area pass comes to ¥5,600 and ¥10,200 per day, and the JR Hokkaido Area pass to ¥3,614 and ¥7,210 per day. The price gap between the ordinary and Green Car versions is ¥16,000 for the JR East Area, ¥23,000 for the JR East and Hokkaido Area, and ¥17,980 for the JR Hokkaido Area. Choose based on how far you plan to travel and how much you value comfort.
Win 10,000 JRE POINT with a Stay-Only Plan
A campaign will also be held in which 50 people chosen by lottery will receive 10,000 JRE POINT when they use the pass together with a Yado Dake Plan (stay-only accommodation plan). The main conditions are as follows.

- Accommodation cost: ¥10,000 or more in total
- Eligible accommodation: properties within the pass area
- Eligible passes: JR East Area and JR East and Hokkaido Area versions
Note that the JR Hokkaido Area pass is not eligible for this campaign. When choosing where to stay, check that the property is located within your pass area.

The pass is available only to Otona no Kyujitsu Club members. Alongside it, JR East will launch the Otona no Kyujitsu Club Web Sign-Up Campaign on October 1, which is worth checking if you are thinking of joining.
Application and Enrollment Periods

Spending Bonus
Spend a total of ¥200,000 or more (tax included), including at least ¥5,000 in Mobile Suica top-ups, and you will be entered into a lottery in which 1,500 people will receive 4,000 points. Points are scheduled to be awarded around late March 2027.
Things to Check Before You Buy
You must be an Otona no Kyujitsu Club member to buy the pass, and sales close on November 30, before the final day of the usage period (December 5).
