Sushiro Closes Out Summer 2026 with Bluefin Chutoro and Abalone from 110 Yen
Akindo Sushiro Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Suita City, Osaka; President: Kohei Arai) will offer Bluefin Tuna Chutoro and Abalone (1 piece) from 110 yen including tax at Sushiro locations nationwide starting Wednesday, August 19, 2026. The promotion grew out of the company’s wish to let guests eat their fill of sushi at affordable prices one more time this summer. On the same day, two new desserts arrive from “SUSHIRO Cafe.”
Chutoro from the “King of Tuna” at 110 Yen and Up
The star of the campaign is chutoro from genuine bluefin tuna, often called the king of tuna. Chutoro strikes an elegant balance between rich marbled fat, delicate aroma and the savory depth of lean tuna, making it irresistible for tuna lovers. A cut normally reserved for specialty sushi restaurants is available from just 110 yen including tax, a hallmark of the conveyor-belt sushi experience. A total of 4.92 million servings is planned, and sales end once stock runs out.
Premium Abalone, Also from 110 Yen
The second highlight is a single piece of abalone sushi, long regarded as a luxury ingredient. Its firm, satisfying bite and the fragrance of the sea make for a truly indulgent plate. Usually associated with special occasions, abalone becomes accessible here at 110 yen and up including tax. A total of 2.02 million servings is planned, again while supplies last.
No.1 Dessert Grows About 40%: “Catalana Grande”
The Catalana Ice Brulee, ranked the No.1 standard dessert (based on results from October 2024 to September 2025), returns as a Grande size that is about 40% larger at the same price. Made with ingredients such as Hokkaido fresh cream, the rich catalana is caramelized over an open flame only after the order is placed, delivering a crisp, faintly bitter top layer against a smooth, melting center. Priced from 270 yen including tax, with 460,000 servings planned. The “about 40% larger” claim is based on a surface-area comparison with the regular size.
New “Puru-Mochi Cream Warabi Mochi Assortment”
Also debuting is a neo-wagashi dessert, the Puru-Mochi Cream Warabi Mochi Assortment, pairing cream-filled, springy warabi mochi with ice cream. Made with genuine bracken starch, its uniquely bouncy, chewy texture combined with cold ice cream is a perfect match for summer. Priced from 280 yen including tax, with 140,000 servings planned.
