Big Boy Announces the “Uji Matcha Dessert Fair”
Big Boy Japan, a subsidiary of Zensho Holdings, will launch the “Uji Matcha Dessert Fair” at its hamburger and steak restaurants “Big Boy” and “Victoria Station” starting Thursday, April 23, 2026. Four limited-time desserts blending Japanese and Western flavors will be available at 168 locations nationwide (as of April 21).

The star of the fair, the Uji Matcha Fudge Sundae, features a warm brownie topped with matcha ice cream made from premium Uji matcha, finished with white chocolate, whipped cream, nuts, and a cherry.
The warm brownie and slightly bitter, chilled matcha ice cream create an exquisite harmony, while milky white chocolate, crispy textures, and crunchy nuts add accent flavors. A side of brown sugar syrup made from Okinawan black sugar can be drizzled on top for a toasty aroma and refined sweetness, delivering a luxurious fusion of Japanese and Western tastes.
