What Is Skymate?
Skymate is a youth fare for travelers aged 12 to 25 who are either JAL Card members or JAL Mileage Bank (JMB) members with registered customer information. Tickets can only be booked and purchased on the day of departure, from midnight until 20 minutes before the flight, making it a same-day standby-style discount fare.
JAL Card Skymate
This even cheaper fare is exclusive to JAL Card members, and payment must be made by credit card using a JAL Card. In this sale it is priced between ¥6,930 and ¥9,350 one-way.
Regular Skymate
Travelers without a JAL Card can still use the regular Skymate fare as long as they are JMB members with registered customer information. In this sale it is priced between ¥7,920 and ¥11,880 one-way.
