Heisei Retro Comes to Hanamaru Udon: First-Ever Narumiya Characters Collab
Hanamaru Co., Ltd., operator of the Sanuki udon chain “Hanamaru Udon” (part of Yoshinoya Holdings), is teaming up with Narumiya International’s popular character brand “Narumiya Characters” for its first-ever collaboration. The “Let’s Trade Stickers at Hanamaru!” campaign runs from June 25 (Thu) to July 8 (Wed), 2026, at Hanamaru Udon stores nationwide (some stores excluded).
The campaign features characters from ANGEL BLUE, mezzo piano, pom ponette, and DAISY LOVERS — brands that were hugely popular among schoolchildren in the 2000s and are now booming again as “Heisei retro pop” among women in their 20s and 30s. Under the theme “Working part-time at Hanamaru Udon!?”, exclusive original sticker designs drawn just for this campaign will be offered, bringing back the excitement of “sticker trading” for kids and adults alike.
Two Collaboration Set Menus
During the campaign, two collab sets are available, each including an original “pick” and collectible limited-edition stickers.
Narumiya Collab Set (650 yen) – Perfect for Summer
- Set includes: Oroshi Bukkake (small) + Hanamaru original pick + 1 sheet of “puffy” stickers (4 types, randomly distributed)
- A refreshing summer favorite paired with cute 3D-style stickers — satisfying even for adults.
Mini Narumiya Collab Set (500 yen) – For Kids and Adults
- Set includes: Nikohana Set + Hanamaru original pick + 1 sheet of “dress-up” stickers (4 types, randomly distributed)
- A collab with the classic “Nikohana Set,” featuring nostalgic “dress-up” play. *Note: the toy normally included with the Nikohana Set is not included.
*All prices include tax; dine-in and takeout are the same price. Takeout adds a 50 yen container fee per bowl. Stickers cannot be chosen, and delivery is not available.
