Jetstar Launches Sale on 5 Japan–Australia Routes
Jetstar is holding an Australia route sale on flights from Japan to Australia, running from noon on June 17 to 4:59 p.m. on June 30, 2026. The sale covers Economy class “Starter” fares, with one-way prices starting from 22,050 yen — a great deal for resort getaways and sightseeing trips to Cairns, Brisbane, and Sydney.
Best of all, there is no fuel surcharge. Note, however, that payment fees, airport usage charges, and other costs are not included, so be sure to confirm the final total when booking.
Sale Routes and Lowest One-Way Fares
Five routes from Japan to Australia are eligible. The lowest one-way Economy “Starter” fares for each route are as follows:
Departing Tokyo/Narita
- Tokyo/Narita – Cairns: from 25,300 yen
- Tokyo/Narita – Brisbane: from 28,900 yen
Departing Osaka/Kansai
- Osaka/Kansai – Cairns: from 22,050 yen (lowest fare)
- Osaka/Kansai – Brisbane: from 27,410 yen
- Osaka/Kansai – Sydney: from 30,900 yen
The cheapest option is the Osaka/Kansai–Cairns route at 22,050 yen. It’s a rare chance to reach Cairns — the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef — for just over 20,000 yen one-way.
