Satsumasendai City Launches ¥3,000 Nightly Discount Campaign
Satsumasendai City in Kagoshima Prefecture is running the “Satsumasendai Manzoku Stay GO! GO! Campaign” from April 1 (check-in) through September 1, 2026 (check-out). Guests staying at participating accommodations for ¥5,000 or more per night (tax included) will receive a flat ¥3,000 discount per person, per night.
The campaign is funded by Japan’s national temporary subsidy for local revitalization in response to rising living costs, aiming to support tourism and ease travel expenses.
Campaign at a Glance

- Eligible stay period: Check-in from April 1, 2026 – Check-out by September 1, 2026
- Eligible guests: Elementary school-age children and above who are charged for accommodation

- Capacity: Ends when 10,000 nights are booked

Then book directly through the property’s official website, a reservation platform, or by phone — and be sure to mention you are using the campaign discount when making your reservation.
Bookings opened on March 10, 2026. Reservations made before the campaign start date (April 1) are not eligible for the discount.
